In the Experience Technology module I was involved in a project to transform a wireless mouse and keyboard into something completely different. The result was a mysterious sound box or "Musical Cube" which translated touch and tilt into various sounds. I was in charge of essentially figuring out how to use the control chip of the keyboard for our construction, spending an awful lot of time hunched over circuitry trying to map key output to various connections - then working out how to use this with the least amount of wiring.
